This policy is a business-ready draft for E&T Parts Hub. Operational details such as final phone number, warranty period, return window, and payment method should be confirmed before launch.
Warranty Overview
E&T Parts Hub works to support customers with practical replacement part options, fitment assistance, and warranty-friendly purchasing guidance. Warranty coverage may vary depending on product type, supplier, warehouse, manufacturer, condition, mileage, availability, invoice terms, and whether the item is new, used, rebuilt, remanufactured, aftermarket, or OEM.
The warranty terms shown on your invoice, quote, receipt, product listing, or written confirmation will control if they differ from this general policy. No verbal statement changes warranty coverage unless confirmed in writing by E&T Parts Hub or the applicable supplier.
General Coverage
Unless otherwise stated in writing, warranty coverage is limited to the part purchased and does not include labor or related costs. A warranty may cover replacement, repair, store credit, or refund at the discretion of E&T Parts Hub, the supplier, warehouse, manufacturer, or warranty provider.
Warranty coverage may apply only to defects in the supplied part under normal use and proper installation. It does not guarantee that a part will solve a vehicle problem if the original diagnosis was incorrect, incomplete, or affected by other vehicle-side issues.
Product Types and Warranty Differences
Used parts may have limited warranty coverage and may show normal wear consistent with age, mileage, and prior use.
New aftermarket parts may be covered by supplier or manufacturer warranty terms.
OEM parts may be subject to manufacturer or distributor policies.
Rebuilt or remanufactured parts may have warranty rules set by the rebuilder or supplier.
Electrical, programmed, and special-order items may have limited or no warranty eligibility once installed, opened, programmed, or connected.
Installation Requirements
Warranty eligibility may require proper installation by a qualified mechanic or automotive professional. The customer may be asked to provide installation documentation, diagnostic reports, photos, receipts, mileage information, scan codes, fluid records, programming records, and proof that the part was installed correctly.
Warranty may be denied if failure results from improper installation, missing maintenance steps, overheating, lack of lubrication, contaminated fluids, incorrect programming, misuse, racing, abuse, accident damage, modification, neglect, improper diagnosis, or failure to replace required supporting components.
Used Engine Warranty Guidelines
For engine assemblies, warranty eligibility may require appropriate pre-installation and installation steps. These may include inspection and replacement of wear items and supporting components as recommended by the installer or supplier. Examples may include fluids, filters, spark plugs, belts, hoses, gaskets, seals, sensors, thermostat, water pump, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, timing components, and cooling system inspection where applicable.
The cooling system should be checked before starting a replacement engine. Overheating, oil starvation, low oil pressure, improper fluids, contamination, or failure to replace required maintenance items may void warranty eligibility. Accessories attached to used engines, such as manifolds, sensors, injectors, pumps, brackets, turbochargers, wiring, or accessories, may be included for convenience only and may not be covered unless specifically stated in writing.
Transmission Warranty Guidelines
Transmissions are complex assemblies and require proper installation procedures. Warranty eligibility may require flushing or replacing transmission cooler lines, replacing filters, seals, gaskets, torque converter where required, using correct fluid, verifying fluid level, checking mounts, sensors, computer controls, and ensuring there are no pre-existing vehicle-side issues.
For manual transmissions, related components such as clutch, pressure plate, slave cylinder, pilot bearing, throwout bearing, and flywheel condition may affect warranty eligibility. Failure caused by improper installation, incorrect fluid, contaminated cooler lines, overheated operation, or vehicle-side electrical/control issues may not be covered.
Differential & Transfer Case Warranty
Differentials, transfer cases, axle assemblies, and drivetrain components may require inspection of related mounts, fluids, seals, yokes, driveshafts, control modules, and vehicle-side components before installation. Incorrect fluid, lack of lubrication, impact damage, improper gear ratio matching, incorrect installation, or use with defective related components may void coverage.
Noise, vibration, leaks, or performance complaints may require diagnostic proof from a qualified shop before warranty review. Warranty may not cover seals, gaskets, bearings, fluids, or wear items unless specifically included in writing.
Electrical Parts Disclaimer
Electrical parts, modules, sensors, computers, switches, wiring, infotainment components, and programmed items may be sensitive to vehicle-side faults. These items may have limited or no warranty once installed, connected, opened, programmed, or powered.
Before installing electrical components, customers should verify that the original fault has been properly diagnosed. Damage caused by short circuits, incorrect programming, water intrusion, bad grounds, power surges, incorrect installation, or vehicle-side electrical issues may not be covered.
Mileage, Wear & Used Part Condition
Used parts may show normal cosmetic wear, surface rust, dirt, scratches, minor dents, discoloration, or age-consistent appearance. Mileage may be supplier-reported, estimated, or based on available records and may not always be independently verified.
Used parts are not new parts. Warranty does not mean the part is cosmetically perfect or free from normal age-related wear unless specifically stated in writing.
What Is Not Covered
Labor charges for installation or removal.
Towing, storage, rental vehicle, diagnostic, programming, or shop supply costs.
Fluids, filters, belts, hoses, gaskets, seals, sensors, or maintenance items unless specifically included in writing.
